
On June 7, Dr. Pedro Sanchez was named Physician of the Year by the National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA) at its Annual Conference in Anaheim, California. This prestigious honor is “awarded to an active NHMA physician who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to serving Hispanic communities or advancement of issues pertinent to Hispanic populations throughout this past year.”
In addition to his work at Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s, Dr. Sanchez has long been a valuable faculty member of the Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology (CCMB). His insight, curiosity, and passion for scientific discovery continue to inspire and push the research being done here at CCMB.
