Last week, FaceBase was highlighted as a featured resource on the Node. Established in 2009, FaceBase is a community-driven data repository and educational platform funded by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR). Maintained by USC’s Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology (CCMB) and Information Sciences Institute (ISI), FaceBase currently offers access to more than 1,100 datasets aimed at accelerating research in the field of craniofacial biology, emphasizing the importance of data accessibility, validation, and reproducibility.
