Congratulations to Jo Bian of Zhaoyang Liu’s lab here at the Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology (CCMB) on receiving the 2025 ASBMR Young Investigator Award for her abstract, “A Cartilage-Enriched G Protein-Coupled Receptor Maintains Articular Cartilage Homeostasis via Promoting Gs Signaling in Mice.” The American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) held its annual meeting in Seattle this weekend, where Jo had the honor of presenting her research. The ASBMR Young Investigator Award “recognizes young investigators who submit top-ranking abstracts to an ASBMR Meeting.”
To read more about her investigation into the mechanisms that guide cartilage growth plate homeostasis, please check out her paper here.
